SCHOLARSHIPS



CASSS will provide a limited number of travel grants for PhD candidates and academic postdocs presenting posters and/or talks at ISCC and GCxGC 2018 in Riva del Garda, Italy. Interested candidates must be the first author and presenter at the conference. All applicants must be current graduate students enrolled in a program or post-doctoral researchers working in a discipline applicable to biopharmaceutical sciences, including protein and nucleic acid therapeutics, vaccines, cell therapy, and gene therapy, etc, - as well as the application of chromatographic and electrophoretic separation methods within the field. Students and postdocs may apply on the CASSS website. Please fill out the form in its entirety, and be prepared to attach copies (in PDF format) of your a) abstract, b) a letter of recommendation from your advisor; and c) proof of student of postdoc status. Only registered students and postdocs are eligible to receive the funds. Deadline for submission of the applications is March 1, 2018.  Selected candidates will be notified within 3 weeks after the deadline.  Apply HERE.

 

Chromaleont

Chromaleont will provide a certain number of 500.00 Eur travel grants as a reimbursement of expenses for participation for PhD students or academic post-docs presenting posters or talks at the GCxGC and ISCC 2018 conferences with preference given to candidates studying at European institutions.

Interested candidates who have already registered to the conferences may apply by emailing to Prof. Paola Dugo at pdugo@unime.it. Please, enclose a letter requesting consideration for the grant, a letter of recommendation from an advisor, and a PDF of the submitted abstract. The applicant must be the first authors and presenter of the poster or lecture

The deadline to apply for a student/postdoc travel grant is February 1, 2018.

 

Interdivisional Group of Separation Science of the Italian Chemical Society (Italy)

The Interdivisional Group on Separations Science of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI) will provide 2 scholarships of 500.00 Eur travel grant as a reimbursement of expenses for participation for PhD students or academic post-docs presenting posters or talks at the ISCC and GCxGC 2018 conference with preference given to candidates studying at Italian institutions.
Interested candidates who have already registered to the conference may apply by
emailing to Prof. Luigi Mondello at lmondello@unime.it. Please, enclose a letter requesting consideration for the grant, a letter of recommendation from an advisor, and a PDF of the submitted abstract. The applicant must be the first author and presenter of the poster or lecture.

Spanish Society of Chromatography and Related Techniques

The Spanish Society of Chromatography and Related Techniques (SECyTA) will provide scholarships to cover the travel expenses of PhD students or postdoctoral scholars presenting a poster or oral communication at the ISCC and GCxGC 2018 symposia.

The organizers of the USA-based meeting will provide 5 travel scholarships as a reimbursement of expenses for participation for graduate students and post-docs presenting posters or talks at the GCxGC and ISCC 2018 conferences with preference given to candidates studying outside the European institutions.
